  • How can I buy tickets?
  • You can easily book tickets online. You can also book by phone if you prefer, at 857-702-9250.

  • Are walk-up tickets available?
  • Because our crawls do sell out quickly, we do not offer walk up tickets, and ask that you book in advance.

  • What do the tours cover (what history do we learn)?
  • On our Independence Pub Crawl our guides will share the stories that your 8th grade Social Studies teacher left out. From the landing on Plymouth Rock to the start of the Revolution, you’ll learn how beer played a part in the birth of America.

    On our Fenway Pub Crawl, you’ll not only learn the history of baseball in Boston which includes the building of Fenway Park and the formation of the Red Sox. You’ll also hear entertaining and lesser known stories about alcohol’s impact on baseball in Boston that goes beyond celebratory champagne.

  • What time are the pub crawls?
  • Our Independence Pub Crawl runs every day at 3:00pm and 7:00pm.

    Our Fenway Pub Crawl runs most days at 3:00pm and 7:00pm depending on the Red Sox and Fenway Schedule. Please check to ensure a crawl is offered on the date and time you’re interested in.

  • How long are the pub crawls?
  • Each pub crawl lasts approximately 2 hours & 15 minutes.

  • Are drinks included on the pub crawl?
  • It depends on your booking. We offer the following two ticket options:

    Happy Hour Package – Includes 4 beers/ciders on tap of your choice
    Fenway Pub Crawl ($64.99) – 4 full pints
    Independence Pub Crawl ($59.99) – Two 16 oz. pints, one 12 oz. glass, one ten oz. glass

    Dry Run Reservation – No drinks included but you can buy from the bars as you go
    Fenway Pub Crawl  ($39.99)
    Independence Pub Crawl ($34.99)

    If you prefer wine or mixed drinks, we suggest booking the Dry Run Reservation. However, with both the Happy Hour Package and the Dry Run Reservation, you will be able to purchase drink directly from the bars.

  • What beers are available with the Happy Hour Package?
  • Anything on tap! With the Happy Hour package, a draft beer or cider of your choosing is included at each pub.

  • Can I order food on the tour?
  • Due to time constraints, our pub crawls focus on the history and drinking. However, both our tours start in areas with a lot of great places to get food (Fenway and Quincy Market)! For those with an appetite, we recommend arriving a little early and grabbing a bite before the crawl.

  • Where do the pub crawls begin?
  • Each of our pub crawls has a different meeting spot.

    The Fenway Pub Crawl You will meet your guide outside Fenway Park at Gate E on Lansdowne St. For GPS, the best address is 86 Lansdowne St., Boston MA 02215  Get directions, map, and picture of Gate E

     

    The Independence Pub Crawl You will meet your guide at the Sam Adams Statue in front of Faneuil Hall. For GPS, the best address is 1 Faneuil Hall Square, Boston MA 02109. The Sam Adams Statue is located on the Congress Street side of Faneuil Hall. The statue is about 20 feet tall and features Sam Adams standing on top of a pedestal with his arms crossed. Walk around to the front of the statue so that you’re looking Sam in the face. Your guide will be there.

     

  • What time should I arrive for my crawl?
  • We ask that you arrive five minutes prior to the start of your crawl. Your guide will have a waiver for you to fill out while they check your I.D or passport.

  • Where can I park?
  • The nearest parking garage to the starting point of the Independence Pub Crawl is the Dock Square Parking Garage attached to the Hard Rock Cafe located at 20 Clinton St. Boston M.A 02109.

    The nearest parking garage to the starting point of the Fenway Pub Crawl is SP Parking on 49 Lansdowne St, Boston, MA 02215.

  • How far will I be walking?
  • Our crawls are friendly to all walking capabilities.

    The Fenway Pub Crawl takes place on Landsdowne Street. The walking distance is limited to one city block.

    The Independence Pub Crawl takes place in Boston’s famous Faneuil Hall District. The walking distance is limited to just a few blocks.

  • Is the tour accessible to peoples of all capabilities?
  • Yes! The distance between the bars is not far and all bars on the tour are wheelchair accessible.

  • How many bars do we visit?
  • Each crawl stops at four bars. Our Independence Pub Crawl is centered around Boston’s Historic Quincy Market and our Fenway Pub Crawl takes you along the iconic Lansdowne street.

  • What bars do we go to?
  • Our routes change depending on tour size, day of the week, and time. However, for our Fenway Pub Crawl, all the bars are near each other and in the shadow of Fenway Park. For our Independence Pub Crawl, all the bars are within two blocks of each other and have historical significance.

  • Where do the tours end?
  • Although our ending spot changes depending on the route we take, we will always end our Fenway Pub Crawl at bar on Lansdowne street and our Independence Pub Crawl will end no further than a quarter of a mile from our starting point.

  • Do I have to be 21+ years old to go on the pub crawl?
  • Yes. All Pub Crawlers must be 21 or older and present valid ID prior to the tour. Valid ID includes ONLY passports, US drivers licenses, and US military IDs. Unfortunately, foreign drivers licenses are not accepted in Massachusetts. While we may be able to determine you’re older than 21 using your foreign drivers license, whether you will be served a the bar is up to each establishment’s discretion. All Pub Crawlers must also sign a waiver of liability prior to the start of the Pub Crawl. ​We unfortunately cannot take any under 21, including infants, even accompanied by adults.

  • Do I need to bring an ID?
  • Yes. All Pub Crawlers must be 21 or older and present valid ID prior to the tour. Valid ID includes ONLY passports, US drivers licenses, and US military IDs.   • Can I bring someone who is under 21/a baby?
  • No. Unfortunately all crawlers must be at least 21 years old with proper identification. This is because of the strict blue law in Massachusetts.

  • Do I need a physical ticket?
  • No, Boston Crawling does not use physical tickets. You will receive an email confirmation upon your purchase. All you need to check in is your ID and a smile. ​

  • What should I bring?
  • We ask that you dress for the weather, wear shoes you’re comfortable walking in, and bring an ID or passport.

  • Does the crawl operate rain, shine, or snow?
  • Yes! We crawl rain, shine, or snow. Our bars are located close to each other and we will keep you as dry as possible.

  • What is the refund/cancellation policy?
  • Tour Insurance is offered at check out for $5 per head allowing guests to cancel or reschedule. For guests with Tour Insurance, cancelations/rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the start of your crawl. If you’d like to cancel or reschedule, please email [email protected]

    For guests without Tour Insurance, all sales are final and cannot be rescheduled or refunded. If you have already purchased your tickets and would like to add tour insurance, please email us at [email protected].

  • Running late?
  • If you’re running late, need directions, or for any reason need to contact your guide, call this number: (617) 752-6926 and select from our list of options.

  • Are private or corporate bookings available?
  • Yes! Private and group bookings are available. Separate times and rates apply for private and corporate pub crawls. Please contact owner Bobby Heaney at 617-843-3890 or [email protected] to book your private crawl.

  • Can I book a crawl for 1 person?
  • Yes you can. Our pub crawl is a great way to meet fellow travelers from around the globe.
